One of our oldest and most successful clients Great Grass has commisioned MKTG Strategic Marketing Consultants to oversee the overhaul of their award-winning Magento e-commerce website.
Who are the clients?
Great Grass is the UK's leading artificial grass supplier, installer and the UK's only BFA approved artificial grass franchise. They supply and install artificial grass for residential and commercial customers. Many of these commercial customers use the artificial grass for events purposes; Great Grass frequently supplies artificial grass for TV, film and advertising features for the likes of the BBC, Manchester City FC & MUFC and even at the Olympic games in 2012.
What's the brief?
Although the Magento based Great Grass website has had substantial development on the back end to improve customer service, the front end hasn't had a major design overhaul since 2014.
Great Grass has had massive success with a previous Magento website (which was also produced by MKTG & developed by Fluid Digital). Lead generated for their supply direct & DIY install model increased by a massive 25% after the launch of the previous website. It's been a few years since that launched and over that time, a shift in the market; towards a preference for full installation services by customers has become apparent. Great Grass very successfully positioned themselves into this new market and even established a British Franchise Association approved franchise model (with the assistance of MKTG) offering full installation services to customers.
The previous website didn't reflect those service offerings to their customers as well as it should have and due to the reliance on mobile devices, the current mobile ready website is dated and is not as responsive as required.
Great Grass has commisioned MKTG to carry out research, analyse the current website usage, commision a tender to developers and ultimately oversee the design and development of a fresh fully responsive website, which will service all divisions of the Great Grass group.
